About me
As a naturalist, educator, and imperfect nature artist, I look closely at the natural world and help others, especially beginners and those worried about where to start, do the same. In the words of Mary Oliver:
"Pay Attention,
Be Astonished,
Tell About It."
"Pay Attention,
Be Astonished,
Tell About It."
I am currently the Arts and Nature Education Manager at Mass Audubon's and primarily work at The Nest at the Museum of American Bird Art Education Center in Canton. In my spare time, I am passionate about nature art and journaling, nature photography and the conservation of our natural world. I have been teaching for 25 years and remain active in field biology and pollinator ecology.
