Check it out, the experimental field is visible from google earth

Before

These are several google earth pictures that show the creation of the experimental field for my graduate research. The field was cleared primarily by hand and also ripping out larger invasive shrubs with a pick up truck. Check out the pictures below for more before and after shots.

Background

From December 2008 to April 2009, with help from some graduate students, friends, and my wife, I ripped and cleared a field filled with invasive shrubs (honeysuckle, multiflora rose, oriental bittersweet) and sumac to create a coastal grassland site to conduct field experiments. You can see the pictures on the right. The area of the field is around 2500 square meters.
